Creative Education Foundation presents Virtual Creativity Workshops Series
The May 2026 series - Elevate Your Creative Cycle: Energy, Ideas, and Action - features three virtual workshops over two days.

Session 1: Tuesday, May 12, 2026 | 12:00-1:30 pm EST

Play Forward: The Improvisational Mindset
Facilitator: Jane Fischer, Lead Trainer, Creative Education Foundation

As creative practitioners, we encourage the concept and practice of "yes, And" in order to defer our judgement or build on others' ideas. How might we be sure to "Yes, And" ourselves as well as our ideas? "Yes, And" is on e of the key tenets of improvisation, where it is supported through mindsets of playfulness, imagination, support, and collaboration. In this highly interactive (and fun) session, participants will explore how an improvisational mindset approach might boost our creative thinking and problem solving.

Session 2: Tuesday, May 12, 2026 | 6:30-8:00 pm EST
Using Behavior Design in CPS
Facilitator: Judy Bernstein

A focus on behavior can help CPS become more specific, tangible, and human-centered. Behavior Design - an innovative system of maxims, methods and models created by Stanford Behavioral Scientist and bestselling author BJ Fogg - offers fresh ways to imagine, shape and develop opportunities for change. In this session, participants will learn practical tools from Fogg's system that can bring a new lens to clarifying challenges, generating ideas, developing solutions and supporting implementation.

Session 3: Wednesday, May 13, 2026 | 12:00-1:30 pm EST
The 3 R's: Reframing Self-Care
Facilitator: Kathy Goller, Life and Leadership Coach, Founder of Teal Horizon Coaching

We all know self-care is important, but finding time for it often feels impossible. In this session, we'll break down the myths around "self-care" and dive into the essential elements of rest, renewal, and review, and why each one is crucial for keeping our creativity and energy flowing. Using creative problem solving tools, you’ll develop personalized strategies that actually fit into your life, so you can recharge, reignite your creativity, and avoid burnout.
